service at anytime with no further obligation.
How long before my service is activated?
In most cases, your service will be activated within 3 to 5 business days (are standard intervals), sometimes sooner. Service activation is dependent on your Local Exchange
Carrier (LEC) and activation times vary in each calling area.

Why are the rates so much lower than companies
like AT&T and MCI? SelectUSALD
is a part of the Covista Communications nationwide fiber optic network,
and we have one of the most efficient call routing systems in the country.
We have been in business since 1983 and have always provided our customers
with some of the best rates in the industry.
How do SelectUSALD rates differ from other companies? SelectUSALD
rates are as much as 70% lower than our competitors. For more details, see

Are my domestic calls billed in 60-second increments?
No. Your domestic calls are billed in six (6) second increments, so unlike most other
plans, you only pay for the time you talk. If you talk for 12 seconds, you
only pay for 12 seconds, not a full minute.
Can I use SelectUSALD for international calls?
Absolutely. SelectUSALD has some of the most competitive international rates in the industry. International calls are billed with 30 second minimum and 6 second increments. Mexico is billed with 60 second minimum and 60 second increments.

Is my credit card charged automatically?
Yes, at the end of each billing month. You will receive an email confirming
your charges. You can also log in anytime at www.selectusald.com and view your account
status, including your bill.
Will you notify me when my credit card is charged?
Yes, You will receive an email confirming your charges and you can check your account status anytime at www.selectusald.com by logging in with your customer
ID and password.
How will I know when my monthly bill is ready?
Once we have established what billing cycle you are on, you will be billed
at the same time each month. You can also check your account status anytime
at www.selectusald.com.
Can I receive a statement through the mail?
Yes. You can receive a paper statement through the mail. And pay your monthly bill by check if you choose.
Are there any hidden charges?
None. No monthly billing fee if you are signed up for AUTOPAY* option or if your bill is over $20.00 each month. (NOTE: $1.99 billing fee is charged when your bill is under $20.00 for all non-AUTOPAY customers.). *AUTOPAY is to pay by credit card or ACH (Direct Checking Withdrawal) each month and receive your invoice online.

Does SelectUSALD offer calling cards?
Yes. The rate is 9.9¢ per minute.
What are the billing increments?
All calls are billed for the first 30 seconds, then in 6 seconds increments.
How do I receive my Calling Card(s)?
Your Calling Card(s) will be mailed within 5 to 7 business days upon approval of your order.
How are Personal Identification Numbers (PIN's) assigned?
Personal Identification Numbers (PIN's) are randomly assigned and mailed in a separate letter for security reasons.

Is there a setup fee for Toll Free Service?
No.
Is there a monthly Access Charge for Toll Free Service?
No.
What is the monthly charge for a Toll Free Number to be listed in the National Toll Free Directory?
$10 per month.
What is the rate on my toll free number?
The rate on your toll free number(s) is the same low outbound rate per minute for Interstate calls and the same low Intrastate rate as your non-toll free telephone numbers.
What are the billing increments?
60 second increment.
How long will it take to activate a new toll free numbers(s)?
Please allow 5 to 7 business days for the activation of the new toll free number(s).
How long will it take to switch an existing toll free number(s)?
The Federal Communications Commission requires the current carrier to release your existing toll free number within 3 business days. Once it is released, your existing toll free number(s) will be activated within 2 to 4 business days.

What is the Monthly Service Charge?
